From understanding risk through to recovery, our programmes are built around what communities in South West State actually face.

Emergency Preparedness and Response

We support communities to understand risks, prepare for emergencies and respond to droughts, floods, displacement and other humanitarian crises.

Anticipatory Action

We promote early action based on forecasts, community knowledge and identified risks, helping protect lives, livelihoods and essential services before hazards become disasters.

How we work

Every programme starts in the community, not in a proposal.

    Our work starts with community consultation, field observation and careful analysis of local priorities.

  2. We plan with communities

    We engage affected people, community leaders and relevant authorities in identifying practical and inclusive solutions.

  3. We build partnerships

    We work with government institutions, humanitarian organizations, community structures and technical partners to combine local knowledge with specialized expertise and resources.

  4. We learn and adapt

    We use monitoring, community feedback and field learning to strengthen our programmes and improve how we work.
